AdventHealth Daytona Beach

AdventHealth Memorial Medical Center is a comprehensive, full service, acute care community hospital located in Daytona Beach and the 81-bed Oceanside campus in Ormond Beach, Florida.
It is part of the Adventist Health System, the largest Protestant, not-for-profit hospital system in America. The 327-bed hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.


In 1967, we began serving east Volusia County as Ormond Memorial Hospital and Memorial Hospital Peninsula. Both facilities joined Adventist Health System in 2000 and became members of the Florida Hospital family. In 2009, the main campus moved from its Ormond Beach site to a highly visible location off Interstate 95 in Daytona Beach. About Dr. Meetesh Desai, COE Director

Dr. Desai attended college and medical school in Miami, Florida at the The University of Miami. He completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He was an administrative chief resident of OB/GYN at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Desai is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is accredited by the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (www.AIMIS.org).Dr. Desai is the chief of surgery at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

Outside of work Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys golfing, playing soccer and running.
